Final Exam
1. Discuss how you used the process of code test revise to solve a problem this semester. Include specific examples from your work.
- This Semester there were various problems I had with the bo-bot and I overcame these by checking what was working with the code and checking what wasn't working. I saw the problem when i ran it and I played with the code a little to fix.
2. Explain the challenge of getting a robot to respond to its environment. Use examples from your work this semester.
-It was hard at one point to get the bo-bot to respond but once i got the hang of it it was easier. the feelers program was a fairly easy program. with the bo-bot responding to the touch of the wire to the prongs on the circut when the bo-bot was moving into a wall. The Light programs were definitly harder. The photocells detected the light or the cancellation of light.There were many challenges in getting different codes to work and respond correctly because there was sometimes a slightly different outcome then you may have wanted and you need to understand the code if you wanna go ahead and make it work the way you want to.
3. Discuss working within the class group to solve problems and gather information about your projects. How could you use this experience or recreate it to do work in the future?
-Accually I didnt personal get any information from the class group it was pretty much between me and my partner. The class group tended to get me side tracked so i tried to stay away most of the time.
4. What was the most important thing you learned from this class? Explain.
-The Most important thing i learned from this class was the code work. I firgured out how to make and change code to my satifaction. i can now go ahead and create a peice of code that i want to control something to do whatever. which is nice becuase i never knew how to do this before. I understand how to change digits to change my whole outcome. i knew before that if i change to numbers on my code it'll come out different but now i know what numbers to change to make what different.
5. What do you wish you learned from this class?
-I wish i learned how to make an actual robot. like design build construct and program. i now now programing and i guess i know how to design and construct but i have yet to do so and i was kinda hopping i could do all 3 in 1 project. Like the hovercraft i never got to program but i did build it.
